In this role, you will lead the implementation of a new extrusion line, from equipment installation, process development, validations, and ramp-up to production.

Develop and document manufacturing processes that support the manufacture of cable core and final assemblies. Including, but not limited to equipment installation, development and documentation of machine settings, development and fabrication of necessary fixtures, dies, tooling that ensure optimal operational efficiency.
- Provide hands on support to manufacturing team at startup, troubleshooting and process/machine optimization.
- Analyze existing processes workflow, equipment and tools for productivity improvements, scrap and cost reduction.

Perform process validation, collect data as required by internal standards and quality/compliance requirements.

Oversee cell daily activities and mentor individuals as required.

Work closely with maintenance team.

Generate instructions and documentation for process changes

Design extrusion dies and process tools as required via CAD tools

Select new manufacturing equipment and perform CAD cell layout as needed

ConductPFMEA and risk assessments

Support Installation Qualification of new equipment and capital projects as needed.
