Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Compliance Assistant to join our growing team. The IT Compliance Assistant will be responsible for ensuring that our information technology systems, processes, and data adhere to all applicable internal policies, external laws, and regulatory frameworks. This role is crucial in minimizing IT-related risks, safeguarding sensitive information, and maintaining the organization's reputation and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Security Monitoring: Track security tools including antivirus, SIEM, firewalls, and endpoint protection; escalate anomalies as needed.

Risk & Compliance: Assist in identifying security gaps and conducting evaluations to ensure adherence to SOC 2, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS standard

Access Control: Review account permissions and access logs to ensure the principle of "least privilege" is maintained

Documentation: Maintain structured records in SharePoint and GRC tools, ensuring security policies and audit evidence are up to date

Incident Support: Document security events, track resolutions, and support IT teams in identifying network misconfigurations

Training & Awareness: Help develop and implement security training materials for employees.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Language: English B2 proficiency with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Schedule: 7-4 PM, Monday to Friday.
Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of IT environments (Active Directory, firewalls, and networking).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Familiarity with workflow management tools like SharePoint or ticketing systems.
Soft Skills: Highly curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable interacting with various corporate teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in IT operations, security, or compliance (internships included).

Foundational certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Cisco CyberOps Associate, or ITIL Foundation.

Experience with data analysis or security monitoring tools.
