We are seeking a Lead Network Engineer to serve as a hands-on technical leader, undertaking physical activity at R&D sites while directing and overseeing network activities across the organization. In this role, you will define, architect, and implement end-to-end network infrastructure and automation capabilities aligned to the strategic goals of the business and IT. You will act as the primary technical authority and face of the network workstream within the program to our business customers, while mentoring engineers and shaping the long-term network strategy.
Responsibilities

Lead and orchestrate network activities across the organization, including owning documentation standards, approving BoMs, and driving solution design

Architect and implement secure, enterprise-scale network solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption technologies

Define and oversee regular security assessments, including penetration testing and vulnerability assessments, to identify, prioritize, and remediate potential security risks

Establish monitoring and response frameworks using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools, and lead security incident response efforts

Partner with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and enforce identity and access management (IAM) policies and network access control (NAC) solutions

Shape and evolve enterprise governance and review processes to ensure successful delivery of project goals and deliverables

Champion and continuously improve enterprise ITSM and CMDB processes

Serve as the key technical liaison to business customers, translating complex technical solutions and programme activities for non-technical audiences

Ensure organizational compliance with relevant security regulations and standards and lead audit engagements as needed

Drive the organization's network security roadmap by staying ahead of emerging security threats, industry trends, and best practices

Mentor and coach senior and mid-level engineers, fostering technical excellence and knowledge sharing across the team
Requirements
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
-
5+ years of experience in network security, with deep expertise in network security fundamentals, encryption technologies, and secure network design principles

Proven experience leading network initiatives and technical teams in enterprise environments (1+ years)

Advanced expertise in Palo Alto, Zscaler, and zero trust architectures

Deep proficiency in Zscaler Private Access and Zscaler Internet Access, including design and rollout at scale

Mastery in architecting, configuring, managing, and troubleshooting firewalls such as Cisco and Palo Alto

Extensive background in intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM tools, and leading security incident response

Exceptional problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence and communicate effectively with executive and diverse stakeholder audiences

Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and drive technical excellence across teams

Flexibility to work occasional weekends as required

Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level)
