We are looking for a passionate, committed, and experienced Primary School Teacher to join our educational community. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Upper Primary students, a strong command of English, and a genuine interest in supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic educator who can create an engaging, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment while working collaboratively with colleagues and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons for Upper Primary students.
- Develop learning experiences that promote critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and independent learning.
- Assess and monitor students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet different learning needs and abilities.
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding students’ progress and wellbeing.
- Participate actively in school events, meetings, professional development, and community activities.
- Work collaboratively with grade-level teams and other members of the academic community.
- Maintain accurate records of students’ learning, assessment, and development.
- Promote the school’s values and contribute positively to the wider school community.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Primary Education, Pedagogy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Primary School, preferably with Upper Primary students.
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering lessons for students in the later years of Primary School.
- Advanced level of English, preferably C1 or equivalent, supported by a recognized English language certification.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative teaching team.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and innovative teaching practices.
- A caring, responsible, and student-centered approach to education.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working in a bilingual or international school.
- Experience with international or inquiry-based curricula.
- Familiarity with Cambridge, IB, or other internationally recognized educational programmes.
- Experience using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
- Additional teaching qualifications or certifications.
