What we are looking for:
As a Financial Accounting Analyst, you will support financial and accounting operations for U.S.-based healthcare clients using Financials Software. This role requires a strong accounting foundation, attention to detail, and the ability to work with financial data and systems to support accurate reporting and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is analytical, eager to learn enterprise financial systems, and capable of translating transactional and system data into reliable insights while supporting configuration, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives under senior guidance.
What You’ll Do:
· Support finance and accounting operations including AP/AR and month‑end close activities.
· Answer questions from clients and/ or contractors regarding payments.
· Assist in creating and maintaining accounting reports and dashboards.
· Collaborate with Finance and IT to identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
Accounts Payable (AP):
· Set up invoices for payment, including payments to subcontractors working with Impact Advisors.
· Ensure necessary documentation is provided (W9, COI, etc).
· Ensure proper approvals are obtained prior to issuing payment.
Accounts Receivable (AR):
· Communicate with clients regarding outstanding invoices to determine when payment will be made.
· Ensure necessary documentation is uploaded to client vendor portal.
· Coordinate with internal teams regarding any disputes on the account.
· Maintain reconciled accounts receivable balances.
General Accounting:
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist in auditing of entered time and expenses for consultants.
- Perform account reconciliations (bank, intercompany, GL accounts).
- Assist in financial reporting and variance analysis.
Education & Experience:
· Bachelor’s or associate degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
· 3–5 years of accounting or finance experience (AP/AR, GL, reconciliations, month‑end close).
Skills & Characteristics
· Strong Excel skills and comfort with data analysis and reconciliations.
· Experience working in ERP systems (Workday preferred)
· Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
