Your Role
As Government Affairs Manager, you will help build and advance our government and public affairs strategy across Mexico. You will build trusted relationships with public-sector and external stakeholders, translating policy and regulatory developments into clear business insights. You will partner with internal teams and external advisors to mitigate risk, identify opportunities, and support KOCH companies' long-term growth.
Our Team
The Government and Public Affairs capability support KOCH companies in Mexico with government and community engagement, coordination of participation in trade associations and external relations to proactively develop visibility, credibility, and relationships with officials and external stakeholders at different levels and help the companies navigate through regulatory challenges as well develop and utilize opportunities
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with consultants and other companies' capabilities to prepare risk assessments and analysis of potential/actual changes in regulations
- Participate in government interactions together with the GA Director/Companies capabilities/Consultants
- Follow up on administrative procedures with authorities supporting the companies
- Assist with development of position papers, consultation responses, and direct engagement as required
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- 5-7 years of experience in government/public affairs
- BA degree in social sciences
- Availability to travel within the country
- English proficiency

- Experience working with government authorities
- Strong interest in and understanding of the decision-making process within state government, including knowledge of policies and procedures across various departments
- Work with multiple teams internally with a focus on Koch companies priorities
