The purpose of this position is to promote, lead, and execute the development, qualification, and continuous improvement of competitive hydraulic and industrial hose products and processes. The role exists to ensure products meet or exceed internal and external customer expectations while complying with quality, environmental, safety, and occupational health standards, contributing to the company’s global growth and operational excellence.

To exceed customer expectations through the development of efficient, technologically competitive processes and qualified products, while ensuring the effectiveness of the Integrated Management System and maintaining full compliance with quality, environmental, safety, and occupational health requirements.
- Review customer technical documentation to define product requirements.
- Supervise and optimize production processes and methods to improve efficiency, quality, and product performance.
- Review, validate, and define appropriate materials for prototyping and production.
- Define, execute, and pilot validation plans for new product developments.
- Plan and coordinate prototype manufacturing activities, including planning, manufacturing, packaging, and shipping.
- Maintain product health by monitoring performance, reporting results, and supporting Development, Technology, and Engineering initiatives.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to increase profitability, improve quality, and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Apply Lean tools, APQP, and Core Tools to improve processes and product outcomes.
- Utilize process simulation software (FlexSim preferred) for process analysis and optimization.
- Prevent, control, and eradicate non‑conformities related to products, processes, and management systems.
- Manage non‑conforming products in accordance with POICA‑04 Control of Non‑Conforming Product, ensuring accurate and reliable documentation.
- Ensure compliance with legal and other applicable requirements per PHSE‑27 Identification of Legal and Other Requirements and FOCA‑70 HSE Legal Compliance Program.
- Assume responsibility for reporting on the effectiveness of the Integrated Management System.
- Participate in internal and external audits, supporting compliance and continuous improvement efforts.
- Register product specifications and create Bills of Materials (BOMs) in Oracle.
- Maintain accurate technical and quality documentation.
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Preferred: Master’s Degree
Experience Level: 3–5+ years in product development, process engineering, or manufacturing engineering
Experience reviewing customer technical requirements and translating them into product/process definitions
Experience supervising manufacturing processes and leading efficiency and quality improvements
Participation in at least one internal or external audit preferred
Experience as an internal auditor or participation in multiple external audits is a plus
