You will be the GCC team’s connection to the Chicago-based pillar — translating priorities into execution, managing your team’s output quality, and operating with the autonomy the Leads need from a GCC partner rather than a team that needs constant direction.
- Manage and develop one Senior Analyst — set priorities, maintain output quality standards, run structured reviews, and build a team member who grows in both technical and finance domain depth
- Own delivery on FP&A Intelligence workstreams assigned to the GCC team — budgeting and forecasting automation support, variance analysis pipelines, consolidation outputs, and ad-hoc FP&A analytics requested by the FP&A Lead
- Own delivery on Commercial Intelligence workstreams assigned to the GCC team — trade spend analytics support, customer P&L components, commercial reporting automation, and ad-hoc commercial finance analytics requested by the Commercial Leads
- Build and maintain Snowflake data pipelines and Power BI dashboards supporting FP&A and Commercial Finance analytics — you are hands-on in the build, not just a coordinator of your team’s work
- Maintain data quality and audit standards across all GCC team outputs — validate pipeline results, catch errors before they reach the Leads, and document data lineage to the standard required by Internal Audit
- Act as the GCC team’s primary interface to the Chicago pillar — attend pillar standups, communicate workstream status proactively, flag capacity and dependency issues before they become delivery problems
- Support month-end close and forecast cycle deliverables for both FP&A and Commercial Finance — the GCC team is part of the close process, not a back-office support function that gets involved after the fact.
- I have +5 years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or data analytics — with hands-on experience in financial planning, commercial reporting, or analytics delivery in a large organization
- I have hands-on experience with Snowflake or an equivalent cloud data platform and I write SQL and Python at a production level
- I build Power BI dashboards that business users actually use — I design for the finance professional who is time-pressured and skeptical of new tools
- I understand FP&A mechanics — budget cycles, forecast variance, P&L structures — and I understand commercial finance mechanics — trade spend, customer P&L, net revenue — well enough to build useful outputs for both domains
- I have managed or mentored at least one person before — I know the difference between delegating work and developing someone
- I am comfortable operating in a distributed team model — my stakeholders are in Chicago and Amsterdam and I deliver without daily supervision
- I have familiarity with SAP/S4 data in a finance or commercial context — I understand how transactions flow into reporting
- I have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
