Compensation: $77,000 MXN gross per month
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Quality Engineer to help ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of enterprise-scale data platforms. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in data validation, ETL testing, SQL analysis, Snowflake, and automated quality processes within modern cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate end-to-end data pipelines, including ingestion, transformation, and delivery processes.
- Perform quality assurance activities across large-scale data platforms.
- Design and execute data validation and testing strategies.
- Identify data quality issues, anomalies, and inconsistencies.
- Analyze complex datasets using SQL to validate business and technical requirements.
- Integrate automated data quality checks into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Data teams to investigate and resolve issues.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, defect reports, and testing documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on data quality, automation, and process efficiency.
Required Skills
- Advanced SQL querying and data validation experience (Mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake (Mandatory)
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (Mandatory)
- Strong understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline validation
- Experience with AWS cloud services
- Python for data analysis and test automation
- GitLab for source control and CI/CD workflows
- Experience with TestRail, Xray, Zephyr, or similar test management tools
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience testing Big Data or enterprise-scale data platforms
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Experience leading QA initiatives, mentoring team members, or driving quality processes
- Experience with automated data quality frameworks and best practices
