We are looking for a Machining CNC Engineer responsible for developing, validating, and implementing advanced machining processes to support a high‑volume machining operation. Conceptualize and develop end‑to‑end machining processes for diverse CNC equipment, from initial planning to full‑scale production.

Set up, adjust, optimize, and program Swiss‑Type CNC lathes for small‑diameter, tight‑tolerance components.

Perform model changeovers, bar feeder setups, spindle/sub‑spindle programming, and troubleshooting (100% hands-on).

Develop and validate grinding processes using centerless grinders and CNC grinding machines, including wheel stone changeovers.

Program and configure machining centers, including setups, adjustments, and complete tool configuration.

Train and mentor lead technicians and operators, ensuring proficiency in machining, programming, and advanced manufacturing processes.

Design custom fixtures and select tooling; collaborate with suppliers to source and validate components.

Create and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam, Esprit, or similar CAM software.

Conduct machining prove‑outs to ensure accuracy, repeatability, and productivity.

Work closely with the Quality team to establish robust inspection methods aligned with GD&T requirements.

Lead final system runoffs to validate complete machining solutions before production release.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to peers and cross‑functional teams.

Support new product development and launch activities, ensuring manufacturability and alignment with plant capabilities.

Recommend materials and processes based on experience, data, and industry knowledge.

Partner with equipment suppliers to develop custom machining solutions.

Perform calculations and software-driven analyses to validate process capability and sustainability.

Drive process improvements that enhance safety, reduce cost, and improve product quality.

Create and maintain documentation packages for development and pre‑production activities.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in CNC machining and process development.

Strong CNC programming skills (Mastercam, Esprit, or similar).

Advanced knowledge of GD&T.

Proficiency in 3D CAD (NX, SolidWorks) and familiarity with PDM tools (e.g., Teamcenter).

Ability to model and analyze manufacturing and assembly processes.

Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with machining, fixture design, metalworking, grinding, and related processes.

Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).
