About the Role
We are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented, and results-driven Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement operations. In this position, you will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing key vendor relationships, negotiating high-value contracts, and optimizing our supply chain costs to support sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers to build a resilient supply chain network.
- Negotiation & Contracting: Lead contract negotiations on pricing, payment terms, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality.
- Vendor Management: Establish and monitor supplier KPIs to evaluate performance and foster long-term partnerships.
- Cost & Budget Control: Manage the purchasing budget, analyze spending patterns, and drive continuous cost-saving initiatives.
- Inventory & Planning: Collaborate with operations, logistics, and inventory teams to align procurement with demand forecasts and prevent stockouts or overstock.
- Compliance & Process Improvement: Standardize purchasing procedures, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize work processes using ERP systems.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, with proven leadership experience in managing teams and high-budget negotiation.
- Language: Advanced / Business English (written and spoken) is required for international vendor communication.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation tactics, strong analytical thinking, leadership, and crisis management abilities.
Sueldo: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 al mes
