Position Title: Maintenance Manager
Reports to: Process Manager
Work Location: Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, Mexico
Ensure and maintain the good condition of indirect production equipment and molds, as well as keep the plant facilities in optimal operating conditions thru the implementation and execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.- Ensure that the production and indirect equipment operates correctly.
2.- Conduct machine failure studies and implement preventive, corrective, and predictive action programs and plans.
3.- Coordinate the installation and relocation of equipment in the plant.
4.- Coordinate the outsourcing of external maintenance services for indirect production equipment, plant cleaning, and facility maintenance.
5.- Carry out personnel management tasks for those under your supervision to ensure proper performance and compliance with assigned activities within the required time frame.
6.- Identify critical spare parts and request them from the purchasing department.
7.- Coordinate studies related to power factors to comply with CFE Regulations.
8.- Coordinate projects for the installation of machinery and equipment in the plant.
9.- Comply with quality and environmental standards requirements.
10.- Supports the company's organizational (5S) objectives thru safe practices and discipline.
12.- Initiate, contribute to, or execute the corrective/preventive actions that are generated.
13.- Seek continuous improvement in their Area.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electromechanical Engineer, or related field.
- Technical skills in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic failures.
- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical diagrams.
- Experience in operation, programming, and maintenance of SEPRO V2 and V3 robots.
- Experience with Haitian, UBE, and Engel plastic injection molding machines.
- Experience with facility equipment such as York central chillers, Kaeser compressors, electrical generators, and electrical substations.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues in Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
- Experience with preventive maintenance systems such as INFOR, including spare parts setup and management.
- Experience in quality and environmental audits.
- Experience in maintenance department KPIs and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurring failures.
- Experience managing administrative and indirect personnel.
- Knowledge of systematic molding processes.
- Project management experience.
- Preventive Maintenance (MTTR and MTBF).
- Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, and Root Cause Analysis).
- Knowledge of centralized plastic material handling systems (Silos and Novatec).
- Knowledge of Engineering Change Management (ECN/ECO processes).
- Knowledge of Core Tools.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 audits.
