JOB SUMMARY
The Sr. Manager, Brand Management, CALA role will play a critical part in supporting the Brand Management organization with a strategic focus on driving branded guest experience and positive ITR across our Select and Midscale brands. As a member of the Continent Lodging Product & Services organization, they will execute prioritized, measurable, and high-impact work and support the development and implementation of tailored brand experience strategies, ensuring alignment between business objectives and customer expectations. This role requires familiarity in various aspects of physical and digital brand management and, the ability to collaborate across disciplines to deliver outstanding customer experiences. The Senior Manager will help coordinate with global and continent brand teams to share best practices and learnings, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required
- 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related major
- 5+ years of hospitality experience or relevant industry, demonstrating progressive career growth.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated ability in customer experience/consumer journey.
Experience in brand strategy, brand activation, brand and product development, trends and innovation.
Language Skills:
- Excellent English (oral and written)
- Excellent Spanish (oral and written)
- Portuguese is a plus
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
- Oversees the adaptation, localization, and execution of key brand programs and proof points across the continent to enhance the guest experience and drive positive Intent to Recommend (ITR) performance.
- Supports and manages Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives related to brand and operational programming in close partnership with Area Teams and Operations leadership.
- Manages the adaptation and standardization of brand voice across CALA, in collaboration with Global and Continent Brand Marketing, as well as regional vendors and procurement partners.
- Partners with Continent Brand Marketing to support halo openings across CALA, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and delivery of a compelling, on-strategy guest experience.
- Collaborates with the CALA openings team to ensure all Select and Midscale brand openings are executed in alignment with brand standards and strategic objectives.
- Provides support to properties and above-property teams on brand standards inquiries, while maintaining and updating standards across the portfolio.
- Contributes to the development and delivery of internal and external brand trainings and immersions to educate and engage key stakeholders.
- Works cross-functionally with Loyalty, Operations, and Food & Beverage teams to understand brand strategies, product differentiators, and to inform distinctive concepts and experiences.
- Coordinates and facilitates both in-person and virtual meetings related to new and ongoing initiatives.
- Monitors progress of deliverables, tracking key milestones and identifying potential risks across all workstreams, while providing concise initiative updates to key stakeholders.
- Supports the ideation and design of new products and service concepts.
- Collects and synthesizes brand performance metrics, guest satisfaction data, and relevant research and trend insights, conducting analysis to inform and strengthen guest experience initiatives.
