MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Master Production Schedule (MPS)
- Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) aligned with demand.
- Translate forecasts and customer orders into feasible production plans.
- Balance capacity vs. demand (machines, resources, tooling).

Integration with MRP (Material Planning)
- Ensure that the MRP accurately reflects the MPS.
- Coordinate with Material Planners to guarantee material availability.
- Validate critical parameters (lead time, lot size, safety stock).

Capacity Management
- Analyze capacity constraints (bottlenecks).
- Adjust production sequences to maximize throughput.
- Escalate risks of overcapacity or underutilization.

Team Management (Material Planners)
- Lead and develop the planning team.
- Establish operational priorities.
- Monitor daily planning execution.
- Ensure process discipline and KPI compliance.

S&OP/SIOP Execution
- Participate in S&OP cycles.
- Integrate demand, inventory, and capacity data.
- Provide scenarios and simulations for decision-making.
