Your Job:
Join our team as a Quality Engineer, where you will play a critical role in ensuring product quality and manufacturing excellence in a high-volume environment. In this position, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives, support new product introductions, and help ensure that processes deliver consistent, reliable, and high-quality results that meet customer expectations.
Our Team:
You will be part of a cross-functional manufacturing team, collaborating closely with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain. The team is focused on delivering high-quality products while driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement across the production lifecycle.
What You Will Do:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality performance, cost reduction, and waste elimination
- Support new product introduction (NPI) activities, product qualifications, and production ramp-up efforts
- Lead and coordinate structured problem-solving efforts across manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams
- Monitor and improve key manufacturing KPIs such as Yield, FPY, Scrap, OEE, and overall productivity
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, internal quality standards, and safety regulations
- Apply data-driven tools and methodologies (Six Sigma, root cause analysis, SPC) to improve process capability and stability
- Support internal, customer, and certification audits while ensuring adherence to quality systems
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of quality tools such as SPC, PFMEA, MSA, root cause analysis, or similar methodologies
- Experience supporting product qualification, process development, or production environments
- Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal)
What Will Put You Ahead:
- Experience in fiber optic cable production or electronic manufacturing environments
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing and production ramp-up processes
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive problem-solving initiatives
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
