We are seeking a Lead Technology Lead to guide a Scrum team in designing and delivering secure backend services, microservices, and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot. You will set technical direction, ensure engineering excellence, and mentor developers—apply to help shape high-impact solutions.
Responsibilities

Lead the Scrum team on technical decisions, delivery approach, and engineering standards

Design secure backend services and define REST API contracts and integration patterns

Build backend microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Apache Kafka
-
Develop, enhance, and maintain production code with a focus on stability and performance
-
Conduct code review and enforce best practices for maintainability and reliability
-
Write unit tests and drive test coverage and quality improvements
-
Estimate work, plan deliveries, and contribute to Scrum ceremonies and planning sessions

Mentor developers, unblock the team, and support knowledge sharing across peers
-
Study existing codebases and improve solutions while preserving business-critical behavior
Requirements

5+ years of software engineering experience

Experience designing and developing backend services and REST APIs
-
Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot in production

Strong technology leadership skills to lead a Scrum team from a technical perspective

Strong microservices architecture knowledge including service design and integration patterns

Strong Apache Kafka experience for event-driven communication and messaging
-
Strong secure services design experience including secure API design and development
-
Strong data modeling skills and understanding of application architecture across tiers

Solid DevOps and QA experience including CI practices and quality gates

Strong estimation and planning skills for development tasks and delivery commitments
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills for client-facing collaboration
-
Upper-Intermediate English (B2) proficiency
