We are seeking a skilled LAN Implementation Technician with hands-on experience in structured cabling and network infrastructure deployment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, terminating, and maintaining CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, and Fiber Optic cabling systems. The role includes rack installation, patch panel configuration, site surveys, troubleshooting network connectivity issues, and maintaining project documentation. Candidates should have strong technical knowledge of LAN cabling standards, fiber optics, cable testing, and the ability to independently execute site implementation activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and manage CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, and Fiber Optic cabling.
Perform cable termination, testing, and certification.
Configure and terminate I/Os, Jack Panels, and Patch Panels.
Execute professional rack installation and rack dressing.
Conduct site surveys and prepare cabling BoQ (Bill of Quantities).
Troubleshoot LAN cabling and connectivity issues.
Maintain installation and testing documentation.
Required Skills:
Hands-on experience in structured cabling and fiber optics.
Strong knowledge of LAN cable testing and troubleshooting.
Experience with patch panels, rack management, and network infrastructure deployment.
Ability to independently handle site implementation activities.
Eligibility
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in LAN implementation and structured cabling.
