Supports Align manufacturing operations. This person shall quickly understand Align’s global manufacturing operations, collect new requirements, and work with development, local Business Analysts, and other teams to provide business-driven solutions.
Attend global as well as local meetings to participate in business requirements discussions with cross functional teams.- Write software requirements specifications and other documents following IT processes and Align SOPs.
- Provide qualitative and, where possible, quantitative analysis of business processes to identify, and help prioritize, opportunities for improvement.
- Help steer business users to solutions appropriate for the maturity level of the processes and the available technology.
- Contribute input to the development team when new or enhanced business solutions are proposed.
- Assist business users and local Business Analysts with preparing user acceptance test cases.
- Assist business users and local Business Analysts in administering user acceptance tests.
- Assess impact of business requests before release.
- Measure expected possible benefits and collect user feedback after release
5+ years of experience in either a) Software Development, b) Software Quality Assurance, or c) Software Business Analysis, with 4+ years of hands-on experience within a Manufacturing Operations environment.- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- Capability to quickly learn current business flows in production.
- Wilingness to learn MES solution architecture and industry-accepted manufacturing operations management principles.
- Participation in research to determine if solutions to business requirements are feasible.
- Good writing skills with formal documentation, especially in writing business requirements.
- Ability to support multiple projects in different stages in parallel.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Troubleshooting skills of application issues.
- Ability to verify testing results.
- SQL query skills for analyzing production data
