Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Master Data Coordinator to manage, maintain, and improve the accuracy of company data across SAP Business One, internal systems, and online e-commerce platforms.
This position is responsible for creating and updating item master data, vendor records, customer records, pricing, product descriptions, images, categories, inventory details, and other key information required for daily business operations. The ideal candidate must have experience working with SAP Business One and online e-commerce platforms, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, update, and maintain master data in SAP Business One, including item codes, descriptions, pricing, units of measure, vendors, customers, barcodes, inventory details, and product classifications.
- Maintain accurate product information across online e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, and company websites.
- Ensure product descriptions, images, dimensions, weights, categories, SKUs, pricing, and inventory data are accurate and consistent across all systems.
- Work closely with purchasing, sales, warehouse, accounting, marketing, and e-commerce teams to ensure data accuracy.
- Review new product information before items are entered into the system.
- Coordinate with vendors to collect product details, cost information, images, specifications, and item updates.
- Audit existing data regularly to identify errors, duplicates, missing information, outdated records, or inconsistencies.
- Support pricing updates, product uploads, seasonal updates, promotions, and catalog changes.
- Assist with e-commerce product setup, including item descriptions, SEO-friendly titles, categories, tags, attributes, and images.
- Help maintain data standards, naming conventions, product classifications, and internal procedures.
- Ensure all data entries follow company policies and approval processes.
- Generate reports from SAP B1 and e-commerce platforms as needed.
- Assist with inventory data updates, item status changes, discontinued products, and vendor changes.
- Support system cleanup projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Troubleshoot data issues between SAP B1, websites, marketplaces, and other connected systems.
Qualifications
- Experience using SAP Business One is required.
- Experience with online e-commerce platforms, websites, or marketplaces is required.
- Strong data entry, data management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work with large amounts of product, inventory, pricing, and vendor data.
- Strong Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, formulas, and data cleanup.
- Ability to communicate clearly with different departments and vendors.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify data inconsistencies.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities.
- Experience with product catalogs, inventory systems, or retail/wholesale operations is preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Preferred Experience

- Experience with platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon Seller Central, BigCommerce, Magento, Walmart Marketplace, or similar platforms.
- Experience handling product images, item descriptions, dimensions, weights, categories, and pricing.
- Experience in retail, wholesale, distribution, home goods, garden products, pottery, or similar industries.
Compensation
Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and skill level.
