Job Title: Remote Fire Sprinkler Estimator (C-16 Trade)
Job Summary:
We are a specialized fire protection contractor seeking a highly motivated, fully Remote Fire Sprinkler Estimator to join our team. This position is open to qualified professionals located in the USA or overseas. In this role, you will focus strictly on water-based fire sprinkler systems, evaluating construction blueprints, performing detailed digital take-offs, and compiling highly accurate bids. The ideal candidate must have a strong command of English, excellent digital blueprint reading skills, and experience working with US-based building plans and NFPA codes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform detailed digital take-offs from architectural and structural drawings exclusively for water-based fire sprinkler systems.
- Quantify all project components, including specialized fire sprinkler pipe, fittings, valves, sprinkler heads, and hangar assemblies using digital tools.
- Analyze engineering specifications to ensure proposed project bids align strictly with NFPA 13, 13R, and 13D standards.
- Compile comprehensive material lists and coordinate remotely with US-based vendors or internal teams to confirm localized raw material pricing.
- Prepare clear RFI drafts (Requests for Information) to clarify design discrepancies before finalizing bids.
- Package final estimation reports and hand off successfully awarded sprinkler projects cleanly to our US-based design and project management teams.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of dedicated fire sprinkler estimating experience, preferably for US-based construction projects.
- Code Knowledge: Strong working proficiency in NFPA 13, 13R, and 13D standards. Familiarity with the California Fire Code is highly preferred.
- Software Proficiency: Mastery of digital takeoff software (e.g., Bluebeam Revu, AutoSPRINK, HydraCAD, SprinkCAD, or Excel) is required.
- Remote Setup: Must possess a reliable, high-speed internet connection, a capable workstation, and the ability to work independently.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills for collaborating seamlessly across global time zones.
