As our next Automation Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and implementing automation solutions while leveraging data analytics to improve manufacturing performance. Your expertise will be critical in supporting MES implementation, optimizing industrial processes, and driving efficiency, quality, and innovation across operations.

Design and develop automation systems for industrial processes
-
Analyze manufacturing data (production, quality, maintenance, logistics) to generate insights and improvements

Support MES implementation and digital manufacturing initiatives

Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and EHS teams to improve efficiency

Develop technical documentation, drawings, and user manuals
-
Select and integrate automation components (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems)

Research and implement new automation technologies

Monitor and improve system performance, cost, and productivity

Present project progress and results to leadership

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards

Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field
-
2+ years of experience in automation, manufacturing, or industrial processes
-
Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as assembly, plastic injection, or welding
-
Experience with design software (SolidWorks, Solid Edge, or similar)

Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle) and/or MES platforms
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Bilingual proficiency (English & Spanish)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience with automation integration (sensors, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics)

Experience with Industry 4.0 or smart manufacturing technologies

Experience developing dashboards, reports, or data-driven tools
-
Knowledge of industrial safety, quality systems, and compliance standards
