Customs Coordinator
The Customs Coordinator is responsible for coordinating customs personnel to achieve the department’s goals and metrics in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with current regulations and both authority and client requirements. This role also involves developing practices and procedures to improve control of the department’s activities.
Responsibilities:

Coordinate import and export operations staff

Coordinate fixed assets personnel activities
-
Coordinate OEA-CTPAT personnel activities
-
Support foreign trade projects
-
Request and obtain government permits
-
Monitor compliance of digital records/files
-
Track OEA – CTPAT compliance
-
Monitor fixed assets compliance
-
Follow up on Annex 24 / 30 compliance
-
Audit import and export processes
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade and Customs, International Trade, or a related field
-
Bilingual (English – Spanish)
-
2 years of experience in a similar position
-
3 years of experience in the customs field
-
Valid visa
-
Knowledge of imports and exports
-
Knowledge of Annex 24 and Annex 30

Knowledge of foreign trade

Knowledge of fixed assets
-
Knowledge of CTPAT and OEA
-
Knowledge of audits
-
Knowledge of digital records/files
-
Knowledge of IMMEX and VAT/IEPS certification

Knowledge of Foreign Trade Law

Knowledge of Customs Law and General Foreign Trade Rules

Knowledge of Zoe system
