The Job
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Graphic Design Manager to lead our creative team. The ideal candidate will be a visual strategist with a deep passion for high-quality editorial design, the ability to mentor and develop talent, and the vision to integrate innovative multimedia content across our platforms. This position is crucial for maintaining the visual excellence and brand consistency in all our print and digital formats.Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage, motivate, and evaluate the performance of the graphic design team, fostering an environment of collaboration and professional growth.
- Editorial Strategy: Oversee the entire editorial design process, ensuring quality, adherence to deadlines, and alignment with the company's communication goals.
- Multimedia Supervision: Direct the creation of multimedia assets, such as short videos, basic animations, and interactive infographics, to complement core content and digital campaigns.
- Project Management: Plan and allocate resources, manage the design area budget, and coordinate effectively with the Marketing, Content, and Sales departments.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all graphic material complies with brand identity standards and technical requirements for each distribution channel.
Requirements and Desired Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in design roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial position.
- Solid portfolio demonstrating advanced proficiency in editorial design (layout, typography, composition).
- Advanced proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
- Demonstrable experience in the creation or supervision of multimedia content (After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar tools).
- Exceptional interpersonal and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
