As a member of the EWSC Leadership Team, this role contributes to the development and attainment of the Corporation’s strategy by planning, directing and overseeing Asset Management, Production and Distribution and Regional Operations for EWSC. The role drives EWSC’s operational resilience and effectiveness by setting long-term strategic goals and driving the functional effectiveness of the Operations Department.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
- Knowledge of engineering principles and practices relating to water, wastewater, management and infrastructure development;
- Knowledge of pertinent Regulatory & Statutory requirements and local and international laws as they pertain to areas of discipline;
- Competence in developing, implementing and evaluating policies, programs and processes;
- Knowledge of the financial and operational drivers for a Water Utility;
- Corporate performance monitoring, reporting and evaluation methodologies and practices;
- Project Management skills;
- Extensive public interaction expertise at national, local, regional and global entities and stakeholders;
- Principles of public administration, management, supervision, training and performance evaluation; and
- Knowledge of principles and practices of budget preparation and administration.
