Position Summary
Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, development, testing and validation of innovative electrical systems, circuits, and technologies for new products and advanced applications. Focuses on research driven engineering, concept development, prototyping, and technical problem solving to support new product introductions and long term technology roadmaps. Complies with regulatory requirements and manufacturable solutions.
Responsibilities
Research, design, and develop electrical circuits, architectures, and systems from concept through validation and release.
Evaluate new technologies, components, materials, and design approaches to support innovation.
Create and maintain electrical schematics, block diagrams, wiring diagrams, and detailed technical documentation.
Perform electrical simulations, calculations and analyses to support design decisions and ensure performance and reliability.
Develop and execute test plans for prototypes, including verification, validation and characterization testing.
Build, debug and support electrical prototypes and experimental setups in controlled environments.
Collaborates with Manufacturing, Quality, and Management team in product development.
Participate in design reviews, technical risk assessments, failure and root cause analysis.
Support engineering activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure designs comply with applicable electrical standards, safety requirements and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related.
2-4 years of experience in electrical design, product development or R&D focused roles.
Strong knowledge of electrical circuit design.
Desirable Experience with sensor design.
Familiarity with product lifecycles, prototyping and validation processes.
