We are seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Developer to build and support custom applications for logistics and transportation workflows, extending OO ABAP and BOPF enhancements across planning, execution, and settlement. You will collaborate directly with clients, own delivery quality, and help drive outcomes in an autonomous team.
Responsibilities

Design and implement custom ABAP solutions aligned to logistics and transportation needs

Extend and refactor Object-Oriented ABAP codebases to improve maintainability and performance

Deliver BOPF enhancements that support planning, carrier execution, and freight settlement

Build and expose services using ABAP RAP and REST-based patterns

Troubleshoot production issues across ABAP, HANA, and SAP-SCM: TM and deliver timely fixes
-
Collaborate directly with clients to clarify requirements and provide day-to-day updates

Write and optimize SQL queries to validate data, investigate defects, and support reporting

Maintain code quality through reviews, testing, and adherence to delivery standards

Use Git-based workflows to manage changes, reviews, and releases
Requirements
-
3+ years of experience developing and integrating software with SAP across full implementation lifecycles

Strong ABAP experience, including ABAP OO and ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP)

Transportation Management domain knowledge within SAP-SCM: TM

Strong SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting

Solid REST understanding for service-based integrations
-
Version control experience with Git or similar systems

Client-facing communication skills with experience working directly with stakeholders

Strong self-management and prioritization skills

Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2)
