Job Description:
Electrical Testing Supervisor
Experience time: 5 years as Quality Engineer, Technical Antena, Testing Engineer with experience in electrical testing for Switchboards (LV / MV)
Key Responsibilities:
To supervise, coordinate, and perform electrical testing activities on Schneider Electric switchboards and Masterpact and Powerpact circuit breakers , ensuring proper operation, safety, and compliance with UL, NETA standards and Schneider Electric requirements, prior to equipment release or customer acceptance.
Assist in translating Schneider Electric global standards into site‑specific procedures and work instructions. Quality System Start Up Support implementation of process based and risk based thinking in line with ISO 9001 assist in defining process flows, SIPOC, KPIs, and quality records during ramp‑up. Support readiness for first‑time certification audits.

Supervise and execute electrical testing for a single Schneider Electric switchboard in accordance with approved procedures.

Plan and conduct NETA ATS / NETA ECS–based testing for low-voltage switchboards.

Perform and validate electrical and functional tests on Schneider Electric Masterpact and Powerpact breakers.

Review and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, schematics, and protection settings.

Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety SE425 procedures (LOTO, PPE, energized work rules).

Prepare and review detailed test reports, documenting results and deviations.

Identify nonconformities and coordinate corrective actions with Quality engineers, engineering and production teams.

Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with customers or third-party inspectors.

Ensure all testing aligns with Schneider Electric specifications and quality standards.

Ensure the testing traceability information reports for every SWBD and breaker tested.
Team Leadership

Lead and mentor quality engineers and test and quality technicians in a growing organization

Support recruitment, onboarding, and competency development of the technician.
Specific Technical Skills and experience:
Visual & Mechanical Inspections
-
Visual inspection of breakers, accessories, and connections.
-
Verification of mechanical integrity and proper installation.
-
Mechanical operation tests (manual and electrical open/close).
-
Verification of mechanical and electrical interlocks.
Electrical Tests
-
Insulation resistance testing (Megger).
-
Contact resistance measurement (micro-ohmmeter).
-
Control circuit continuity checks.
-
Testing of closing and tripping coils (shunt trip, undervoltage release).
Protection & Trip Unit Testing
-
Primary or secondary injection testing, as applicable:
-
Long Time (LT)
-
Short Time (ST)
-
Instantaneous (INST)
-
Ground Fault (GF), when applicable
-
Verification of trip unit settings and protection curves.
-
Functional validation of Micrologic trip units, including alarms and communication interfaces when applicable.
Technical Knowledge
-
NETA ATS and/or NETA ECS standards, UL 891 (other similar)

Low-voltage power distribution systems.

Electrical protection principles and breaker coordination.
-
Use of electrical test instruments (megger, micro-ohmmeter, primary/secondary injection test sets).

Schneider Electric switchboard and breaker specifications.
Competencies
Strong technical leadership, high commitment to electrical safety, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Effective communication with customers, inspectors, and internal teams.
Core Tools:
Assist in early deployment and use of Quality Core Tools during process design and launch:

FMEA (Process / Design) Participate in FMEA development, updates, and risk reduction actions

Control Plans – Support creation and maintenance of control plans during ramp‑up

MSA – Assist with measurement system analysis activities and documentation

Assist in defining quality KPIs and monitoring process stability during ramp‑up
(External) English Qualifications:
Qualifications :
-
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience 5 years of experience in Quality / engineering with experience in electrical testing, SE425, UL 891 (other similars)

Microsoft Office (Excel required), Minitab, Office.

Certification as internal auditor in ISO 9001, 14001, 45000, Six sigma, Lean manufacturing is a plus.

Languages: English advanced level (required for corporate, customer communication and audits)
