Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Acquisition Manager to lead our efforts in identifying, evaluating, and securing properties. Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end property acquisition process, including market research, site analysis, and negotiations with landowners and brokers.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to evaluate the viability of potential acquisitions, including assessing investment returns and risk factors.
- Collaborate with asset management teams to align land purchases with broader portfolio management strategies and development plans.
- Utilize financial software tools to model investment scenarios, forecast cash flows, and support decision-making processes.
- Research market trends, zoning regulations, environmental considerations, and other factors impacting land value and suitability.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership to facilitate informed approval of acquisition proposals.
- Maintain strong relationships with industry professionals, government agencies, and community stakeholders to streamline the acquisition process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in real estate investment, or related fields real estate investment.
- Strong background in financial analysis, including proficiency with financial concepts such as ROI (Return on Investment), NPV (Net Present Value), IRR (Internal Rate of Return), and cash flow modeling.
- Knowledge of investment management principles and portfolio management strategies relevant to land assets.
- Excellent research skills combined with familiarity using Zillow, Redfin and REI automator tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights for decision-making.
- Solid understanding of real estate markets, zoning laws, environmental regulations, and land valuation techniques.
- Exceptional communication skills to negotiate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
