We are looking for a motivated Traffic Specialist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates who are eager to start a career in the logistics and freight forwarding industry. You will be trained to handle traffic and transportation processes, coordinating with clients, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely shipment operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate shipment pickups and deliveries with carriers, trucking companies, and internal teams.
- Book and confirm cargo space and equipment with shipping lines and transportation providers.
- Schedule and manage appointments at ports, terminals, and warehouses.
- Track shipments in transit and provide timely status updates to clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor transit times and proactively identify and communicate potential delays.
- Request and compare transportation rates and quotes from carriers.
- Support the resolution of operational issues such as delays, rerouting, and equipment availability.
- Maintain accurate shipment and traffic records in the company's system/software.
- Learn and adhere to standard logistics processes and international trade compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, International Business, Commerce, or a related field.
- Freshers are welcome — no prior experience required.
- Advanced English is mandatory (spoken and written).
- Basic knowledge of logistics, Incoterms, or shipping operations is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
