We are seeking an experienced immigration paralegal to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This position focuses primarily on preparing and managing USCIS filings and supporting team members in family-based and humanitarian matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing a high-volume caseload independently in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, organize, and review USCIS forms such as family petitions, U-visas ans waiver, as well as supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Draft letters, legal correspondence, and client communications.
- Maintain organized digital case files and track deadlines.
- Communicate with clients to collect information, clarify documentation, and provide updates on case progress.
- Assist attorney with research on USCIS policies, procedures, and filing requirements.
- Ensure compliance with USCIS filing requirements, including formatting, evidence, and signatures.
- Monitor case status in USCIS online systems and notify team of updates.
Qualifications:
- Preferably 2+ years of paralegal experience, immigration law is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of USCIS forms, filing procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing multiple cases and deadlines in a remote environment.
- Proficiency with case management software, Microsoft Office Suite, Dropbox, Google Suite.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with attorney and team members.
Compensation:
- Starting pay at $7.00 / hr at 30 hrs a week.
