General Job Description Sanmina, a leading electronics manufacturing company committed to equal opportunity, is seeking an Information Systems Engineer 4 specialized in Windows Endpoint Services. You will be responsible for the efficiency, maintenance, and support of our Windows server infrastructure, end-user systems, and core business applications, ensuring the security and availability of global services.
THE ROLE
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of solid experience in Windows Server administration and desktop environments within corporate settings.
- Focus: Server administration, Active Directory, Asset Management, and Endpoint Security.
Key Responsibilities
This role requires a highly specialized engineer to manage our infrastructure's integrity:
- Infrastructure Management: Administer, monitor, and maintain the Microsoft Windows Server environment (2016/2019/2022) and domain services (AD, GPOs, DNS, DHCP).
- Asset and License Control: Develop accurate hardware/software inventory records and manage the device lifecycle in coordination with procurement.
- Security and Patching: Implement endpoint management solutions, ensuring all systems are up to date with the latest security patches and antivirus.
- Virtualization (VDI): Administer application and desktop virtualization platforms, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Tier 3 Support: Provide advanced technical support for complex infrastructure and networking incidents (VLANs, routing, firewalls).
- Business Continuity: Maintain and test backup and disaster recovery procedures.
Required Knowledge and Skills Essential Technical Knowledge: * Active Directory: Expert proficiency in AD and Group Policy Objects (GPOs) management.
- Operating Systems: Advanced experience in Windows Server 2016 through 2022.
- Endpoint Management: Proficiency in software deployment and patch management tools.
- Networking: Solid knowledge of networking concepts (VLANs, Routing, Firewalls).
- Scripting: Automation capabilities using PowerShell.
Plus Skills (Desirable): * Familiarity with Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Microsoft Certifications (MCSA/MCSE).
- Experience in global manufacturing environments.
Advanced English (80% or higher, mandatory). * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
