We are looking for a Senior SAP ABAP Developer to create and maintain custom applications for logistics and transportation workflows, extending OO ABAP and BOPF enhancements across planning, execution, and settlement. You will work directly with clients, take ownership of delivery quality, and help drive outcomes within an autonomous team.
Responsibilities

Design and implement custom ABAP solutions tailored to logistics and transportation needs

Extend and refactor Object-Oriented ABAP codebases to enhance maintainability and performance

Deliver BOPF enhancements supporting planning, carrier execution, and freight settlement
-
Build and expose services leveraging ABAP RAP and REST-based patterns
-
Troubleshoot production issues across ABAP, HANA, and SAP-SCM: TM, providing timely fixes
-
Engage directly with clients to clarify requirements and share day-to-day updates
-
Write and optimize SQL queries to validate data, investigate defects, and support reporting
-
Maintain code quality through reviews, testing, and adherence to delivery standards

Apply Git-based workflows to manage changes, reviews, and releases
Requirements
-
3+ years of experience developing and integrating software with SAP across full implementation lifecycles
-
Strong background in ABAP, including ABAP OO and ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP)

Knowledge of the Transportation Management domain within SAP-SCM: TM
-
Strong skills in SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting

Solid understanding of REST for service-based integrations

Familiarity with version control tools such as Git or similar systems

Client-facing communication skills, with experience engaging directly with stakeholders

Strong capability to self-manage and prioritize tasks

Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2)
