Your Job:
As a Sr. Finance Business Partner , you will be the strategic finance link between plant operations and the broader organization, providing economic and financial analysis that enables decisions aligned to the business risk profile and value creation. You will lead TIS finance initiatives and special projects, and drive process improvements that deliver measurable business impact.
Our Team:
You will join our Guadalajara manufacturing plant , partnering closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams. You will also collaborate with the broader TIS finance network and global shared plant teams to share best practices and improve business performance.
What You Will Do:
- Build strong, trusted relationships with key plant leaders and decision makers to influence outcomes through financial insight.
- Provide economic analysis and a clear point of view on strategic and operational decisions.
- Translate plant performance into actionable insights through cost variance analysis, plant metrics, and KPI-based storytelling.
- Connect front-end business teams with FP&A to ensure decisions reflect economic reality and value creation opportunities.
- Lead and execute TIS finance initiatives and special projects that improve profitability, efficiency, and decision quality.
- Partner with global/shared plant teams to align on priorities, share knowledge, and deploy best practices across sites.
- Help ensure an effective financial control system is in place to support compliance, governance, and disciplined execution.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics , or a related field.
- 5-10 years of progressive experience in applied financial analysis, economic modeling, and/or accounting with financial statement analysis.
- Solid understanding of cost accounting / product costing principles.
- Demonstrated experience gathering data, performing analysis, and presenting recommendations using a structured decision-making approach.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to ~10% , including overnight stays).
What Will Put You Ahead:
- Manufacturing industry experience and/or experience in a global company environment.
- Experience providing economic analysis to support decision-making processes (e.g., valuation and investment analysis).
- Experience with large ERP systems such as SAP , Infor , or similar integrated platforms.
- Proficiency with business analysis and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, VBA, Hyperion, SQL ).
- Experience with one or more of the following: benchmarking, KPI tracking, variance analysis, capital projects, forecasting/planning, and valuation metrics ( NPV, IRR, ROI, marginal analysis ).
- Process improvement / transformation / implementation experience.
