We are seeking a Lead Python Web Engineer to become part of our team.
In this role, you will architect and implement advanced features from start to finish, directly enhancing our client’s credit performance systems. You will be responsible for the accuracy, dependability, and excellence of your output, while actively spotting potential risks, evaluating tradeoffs, and suggesting improvements. You will work independently, play a key role in technical design choices, and collaborate closely with investment and business partners to turn requirements into effective technical outcomes.
Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of sophisticated features and modules, guiding them from development to deployment

Develop solutions with clear interfaces, strategic tradeoffs, and a focus on long-term supportability

Anticipate and mitigate technical and operational challenges before they arise

Guarantee that your work is thoroughly tested, dependable, and ready for release

Conduct code and design reviews to help raise the team’s overall standards and consistency

Work directly with business and investment partners to gather requirements and explain technical choices in an understandable way
Requirements

At least 5 years of hands-on experience in a related field

Minimum of one year overseeing and guiding development teams

Advanced proficiency in Python, with practical experience using FastAPI to create modern APIs
-
Working knowledge of AWS offerings such as EKS, RDS, and Aurora for cloud infrastructure and database solutions

Experience utilizing GitHub Actions for automating CI/CD processes and workflows
-
Direct experience with Next.js for developing contemporary web front-end solutions

Strong background in PostgreSQL for designing and managing relational databases
-
Understanding of Geneva or similar tools for portfolio accounting or financial data processes
-
Familiarity with AI-powered development tools to boost efficiency and code quality
-
English communication skills at B2+ level or above, both written and spoken
