As a Logistics Import & Export Manager, you will be responsible for leading all import and export operations at our Guadalajara facility, ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective cross-border and domestic logistics processes.
You will play a key role in maintaining operational continuity, mitigating customs and compliance risks, and aligning site execution with global logistics strategies.
Our Team
You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Planning, Purchasing, Finance, and Corporate Logistics, as well as external stakeholders such as customs brokers, carriers, and government authorities (SAT, Customs).
This role is part of a global logistics network within corp team, requiring strong collaboration across regions and functions.
What You Will Do

Lead end-to-end import/export operations for raw materials, indirect materials, and equipment.

Ensure full compliance with IMMEX regulations, Annex 24 & 31, VAT certifications, and global trade requirements.

Define and manage KPIs for carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers, driving continuous improvement.

Develop and implement audit programs and SOPs to ensure adherence to customs policies and regulations.

Monitor and optimize transportation costs, service levels, and delivery performance.

Act as the primary escalation point for logistics disruptions impacting supply continuity.

Partner with global teams (Corporate Logistics, KBX/Koch) to align with enterprise strategies.

Lead, develop, and coach a team of logistics specialists.

Drive initiatives to improve efficiency, compliance, and operational excellence.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, International Business, Logistics, or related field.

5-8+ years of experience in import/export and global logistics within a manufacturing environment.

Proven experience with Mexican customs regulations (IMMEX, Annex 24 & 31).

Strong experience managing customs brokers, carriers, and freight forwarders.

Advanced English (fluent in business communication).

Experience leading teams and working cross-functionally.

Exposure to SAT audits, VAT certification processes, and external compliance reviews.

Knowledge of SAP, data analysis tools (Excel advanced, Power BI).
