Job Summary**
Valeo Sistemas Electricos SA de CV is seeking a highly motivated Finance Trainee to join our dynamic finance team. This entry-level position offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience across various financial functions within a global automotive supplier. The trainee will support financial operations, learn key processes, and contribute to the team's efficiency.
Job Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and presentations.
- Support data collection and analysis for budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
- Learn and apply company financial policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed within the finance department.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
Job Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (recently graduated or expecting to graduate soon).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Proactive and team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Prior internship experience in a finance or accounting role is a plus.
