CITRUS AGRONOMIST

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Citrus Agronomist to join our agricultural operations in the United States. The ideal candidate will oversee grove health, implement advanced pest management programs, and optimize crop yields using modern sustainable farming technologies. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and manage citrus grove health, nutrition, and irrigation systems. Develop and implement Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies, specifically focusing on citrus greening (HLB), canker, and thrips. Analyze soil, water, and tissue samples to design precise fertilization programs. Supervise field crews and ensure compliance with USDA, EPA, and food safety regulations. Generate technical reports and communicate recommendations effectively to senior management.
Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, or a related field (Mandatory for TN Visa).
Credentials: Valid Professional License and Degree Certificate.
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in citrus management (lemons, oranges, limes, or grapefruits).
Language: Fluent English (professional, written, and spoken).
Skills: Proficiency in agricultural software, GPS mapping, and data analysis.
Legal: Valid Mexican Passport and clean legal record. Ready to relocate.
