Annex 24 Supervisor – Bilingual
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bilingual Annex 24 Supervisor with strong experience managing IMMEX inventory control through the I-Xport system. This position is responsible for supervising Annex 24 operations, ensuring customs compliance, inventory accuracy, and supporting internal and external audits related to Mexican Foreign Trade regulations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily Annex 24 operations using the I-Xport system.
- Ensure accurate inventory control for IMMEX temporary imports and exports.
- Validate import/export transactions, virtual operations, returns, and inventory discharges.
- Perform reconciliations between ERP systems, customs documentation, and Annex 24 records.
- Monitor IMMEX compliance and inventory aging.
- Support Annex 30, VAT & IEPS certification compliance activities.
- Coordinate internal audits and SAT/customs audits.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare compliance reports and KPI tracking for management.
- Train and supervise Annex 24 analysts and support staff.
- Maintain communication with customs brokers, warehouse, logistics, and operations teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within Foreign Trade processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Customs, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Annex 24 operations.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Advanced experience using I-Xport.
- Strong knowledge of IMMEX regulations, Annex 24, Annex 30, and Mexican Customs Law.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, etc.).
- Advanced Excel skills.
- English proficiency (written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments.
- Knowledge of OEA and VAT & IEPS certification processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
