Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving plastic injection molds to ensure reliable production, high product quality, and minimal downtime. This role performs preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnoses tooling failures, coordinates machining and component replacement, and supports mold trials after repairs. The engineer works closely with Production, Quality, Process Engineering, and external suppliers to increase mold life, reduce recurring issues, and optimize tooling performance in a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment.
