Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience & Knowledge
- Experience in the automotive industry.
- Experience with forming machines, stamping presses, and metal stamping processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience with problem-solving methodologies.
- Knowledge and application of Lean Manufacturing principles and techniques.
- Data analysis skills to support decision-making and identify potential issues.
- Root cause analysis and problem-solving experience.
- Experience improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- PMT – CMT preventive maintenance routine planning.
- Experience leading projects focused on process optimization, operational efficiency, and cost reduction.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with machining and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of progressive manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience working with Tool Shop operations.
