Senior Graphic Designer (Packaging, Marketing & 3D) – Remote (Mexico)
We are seeking a Senior Graphic Designer with strong experience across packaging design, marketing assets, and 3D product visualization.
This role requires a well-rounded designer who can handle both creative and technical work, including production-ready packaging, product marketing visuals, and 3D animation.
Position Details
Location: Remote (Mexico)
Schedule: Monday – Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Los Angeles Time)
Compensation: $1,500 USD/month (flat rate)
Type: Independent Contractor
Packaging Design (Print Production)
Design and prepare retail packaging for production using provided dielines and product specifications.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating packaging layouts using dielines
- Preparing print-ready files for manufacturing
- Setting up bleed, trim, and safe zones
- Working with die cuts and fold lines
- Applying emboss and deboss elements
- Setting up foil stamping using spot colors
- Organizing files with proper layer structure for printers
Candidates must have real experience delivering packaging files that are ready for production, not just visual mockups.
Marketing and Product Design
Create visual assets used across digital platforms to support product launches and ongoing marketing.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing social media graphics for products and promotions
- Creating website banners and homepage visuals
- Editing and enhancing product photography
- Maintaining consistent brand identity across all assets
- Developing promotional graphics for campaigns and seasonal releases
3D Rendering and Animation
Create 3D visuals and animations to showcase products and their features.
Responsibilities include:
- Building realistic product renders
- Creating short animations for marketing use
- Producing exploded-view animations showing internal components
- Working with reference images or engineering files when available
- Applying realistic lighting, materials, and motion
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Strong experience with packaging design for print production
- Understanding of print processes including bleed, dielines, and specialty finishes
- Experience with 3D software such as Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar
- Ability to create both static and animated product visuals
- Strong attention to detail and file organization
Important
This role requires hands-on production experience.
Applicants must be able to explain their process for packaging setup, including how they prepare files for print and specialty finishes such as foil.
Applicants who rely primarily on AI tools without understanding production workflows will not be considered.
Required Skills Test
All applicants must complete a skills test as part of the hiring process. The test will include packaging setup, marketing design, and basic 3D work.
