We are looking for a Medical Billing Negotiator who enjoys problem-solving, negotiating, and working with insurance and healthcare providers to reduce medical expenses. This role directly impacts our clients' financial recovery by ensuring medical bills are negotiated fairly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate medical bills with healthcare providers to reduce treatment costs.
- Communicate with insurance companies to verify coverage and resolve billing issues.
- Review medical invoices, insurance documentation, and billing statements for accuracy.
- Maintain organized records of negotiations, billing documents, and payment updates.
- Collaborate with the Health Insurance Liens team and other internal departments to ensure efficient case management.
- Provide professional and empathetic communication with medical providers and insurance representatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve billing and negotiation processes.
- Complete administrative tasks related to billing negotiations and case documentation.
- Maintain accurate productivity and task tracking through company systems.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of customer service, collections, claims, account management, or negotiation experience.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable reviewing invoices, billing statements, and financial documentation.
- Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
- Ability to manage confidential information professionally.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work onsite during the assigned night shift.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in medical billing or healthcare administration.
- Experience working with insurance companies or insurance claims.
- Knowledge of medical liens, Medicare, Medicaid, ERISA, or lien reductions.
- Background in collections, accounts receivable, or payment negotiations.
- Experience within the legal or healthcare industry.
