Job Summary**
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance trainee to support our maintenance team in ensuring the optimal functioning of plant machinery and equipment. This role offers hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities**
- Assist senior maintenance technicians with routine preventive maintenance tasks on various production equipment.
- Support the diagnosis and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system malfunctions.
- Participate in the repair and replacement of faulty components, under direct supervision.
- Help maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during maintenance activities.
- Assist with inventory management of spare parts and tools.
- Learn to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Job Qualifications**
- Currently pursuing a technical degree or vocational certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and/or electrical principles.
- Strong willingness to learn and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move objects as required by the job.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Mexico.
