The Manager, Mexico EV Client Engagement owns commercial execution and customer outcomes for Mexico EV and energy customers, driving pipeline progression, deal execution, and expansion in-market. The role translates global GTM strategy into Mexico-specific plays, orchestrates cross-functional resources to win and deliver complex solutions, and provides structured market and customer feedback to inform product and portfolio priorities.
Pipeline & Deal Orchestration
- Own Mexico pipeline performance across the funnel (lead-to-close), including deal strategy, pursuit plans, and governance cadence.
• Partner with Sales/AEs/BD on opportunity qualification, value articulation, and executive alignment; remove friction to improve deal velocity and win rate. • Drive disciplined forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and prioritization aligned to business goals and capacity.
- Coordinate internal SMEs to shape solutions and proposals for complex Mexico opportunities.
Account Outcomes, Expansion & Retention
- Lead account planning for top Mexico customers: multi-year roadmaps, expansion hypotheses, and cross-functional action plans.
- Run customer governance (QBRs/steerco) to manage outcomes, risks, and stakeholder alignment; protect renewals and expansion.
- Partner with delivery/support functions to resolve escalations and improve customer health.
- Identify and execute expansion motions based on usage signals, customer needs, and product readiness.
Mexico GTM Localization & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Operationalize global GTM playbooks locally by tailoring messaging, packaging, and deal mechanics to Mexico buyer dynamics.
- Align with Product Localization and global Product on roadmap sequencing and launch timing that impacts Mexico commercial outcomes.
Duties
- Partner with Commercial Enablement to ensure sellers are trained, equipped, and using consistent processes and assets.
- Collaborate with Finance/Legal as needed to structure deals, manage risk, and ensure contract readiness.
Market Intelligence & Executive Communication
- Provide structured voice-of-customer, competitive insights, and market learnings to global Strategy, Product, and GTM leaders.
- Deliver executive-ready updates on Mexico performance, key accounts, risks, and inflection points.
- Define and track success metrics for Mexico commercial outcomes and communicate progress against targets
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in client engagement, sales strategy/operations, consulting, corporate strategy, or solution sales; energy/EV preferred.
- Demonstrated success driving complex, multi-stakeholder deals and managing senior customer relationships.
- Strong track record of cross-functional leadership without formal authority, including coordinating Product, Finance, Legal, and delivery teams.
- Fluency in Spanish and professional proficiency in English required.
