About the Role
We are looking in Mexico City and Sao Paulo for a role of the Team Head SIS SAP RSC Americas.
In this challenging role, you will be responsible for SAP projects implementations (acquisitions) and rollouts following the Global template, support operations and contribute to SAP initiatives in Americas region, managing a team of SAP specialists in the region and collaborating with SAP central team in Zurich.

Align SIS project delivery strategy and the region’s territory strategy to ensure solution adoption across the region.

Assist with the translation of business requirements into SAP functionality and manage the expectations of the business where appropriate.

Work with the latest technologies based on our S/4 HANA system in a global team (with integration to non-SAP applications, Fiori apps and cloud-based technologies).

Promote global standardized processes and methodologies, best practices, examples, and templates with a ‘fit to standard’ mindset.

Contribute and manage harmonization initiatives, safeguard Sika’s SAP global template solutions and adjust according to Sika’s best practices – following our governance procedures.

Provide coordination and take ownership of critical projects and support deliverables (eg. functional specifications, tickets, CRs) – overall coordination, set priorities and assign to the team, review performance and write/handle/solve on your own when required.
Your Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer sciences, Business Studies or equivalent experience

Solid background as senior functional consultant (+10 years) in one of the key areas Finance or Supply Chain

Broad SAP project management experience as well as experience in leading teams

Experience in working in an international corporation and with globally distributed teams – being effective in organizations with different cultures

Project experience from successful SAP projects in the role of project manager/ functional lead or functional consultant

Proactive and structured person, who is used to drive initiatives from the beginning to the end

Strong communication skills with experience working in virtual teams and feels comfortable communicating with stakeholders and colleagues of all hierarchy levels

Excellent communication skills – fluent English, Spanish is a great advantage

Readiness to travel (30%-40% travel requirements) in case needed for the project.
