****SAP Systems Analyst****
Academic Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
· High school diploma or GED
· Bachelor’s degree in Info Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
· Minimum 2 years of EDI software configuration and mapping experience
· Experience in various EDI communication methods (VAN, FTP, AS2, etc.)
· Experience in unit testing, developing application interfaces and integration testing
· Experience in a multicultural environment preferred
· Familiarity with Scheduling Agreements and Automotive industry preferred
· Error tracking and remediation skills are essential skills to this role
· Detailed knowledge of standard automotive EDI documents preferred
· Strong written and oral communication skills English/Spanish
· Excellent organization, planning and administration
· Experience in ABAP, PI, EP or other technical SAP components preferred
· Possess mental faculties consistent with performing at least the minimum essential functions of the job
Essential Duties:
· Responsible for the analysis and mapping of EDI into the SAP application. Coordinates efforts closely with the SAP Business Analysts who represent different business functions such as SD and FI/CO
· Responsible for the creation and maintenance of EDI technologies and their interaction with SAP
· Operates as an internal consultant within the IT department. Works with Business Analysts and business units to ensure project objectives are well defined, tracked and completed on schedule
· Responsible for quickly resolving and documenting day to day issues as they arise
· Provide and transfer functional and process knowledge of the latest EDI standards and practices by keeping current on various published materials and customer requirements
· Translating technical specifications into programs or configurations in SAP
· Provide support to key users in the areas of localizing detailed designs, process documentation, data cleansing and migration, user acceptance training, end user training and “go-live” support
· Adhere to all company policies and procedures which include IATF, ISO, ISMS, TISAX, QMS, J-Sox and Safety related policies.
