Mission of the Role:Visteon’s Global Treasury Operations team is seeking a Treasury Operations Analyst to own the direct cash flow forecasting cycle for the Americas region, covering the United States, Mexico, and Brazil. This role sits at the intersection of data analytics, process transformation, and liquidity management within a publicly traded, global automotive technology company.
The analyst will serve as the primary point of contact for Americas cash forecasting, daily cash position reporting, foreign exchange trade support, and cross-functional data coordination. This position is critical to Treasury’s ability to deliver accurate, timely liquidity insights to senior leadership and the CFO’s office.
Key Objectives of this Role:
Cash Flow Forecasting (DCF – Americas)
- Own the 13-week rolling cash flow forecast for the US, Mexico, and Brazil.
- Consolidate inputs from multiple functions (Tax, AP, AR, Sales, HR, Warranty).
- Analyze forecast vs. actual variances and present root-cause insights to leadership.
- Improve forecast accuracy by tracking payment patterns, cycles, and FX impacts.
- Align forecasting methodology globally and support transition to a rolling model.
Daily Cash Position Reporting
Monitor and report daily cash movements across Americas bank accounts.
- Maintain the cashbook and prepare daily executive summaries.
- Identify and explain key drivers of cash fluctuations.
- Key Performance Indicators
FX Operations Support (Brazil)
- Coordinate FX trades for supplier payments and optimize exchange rates.
- Execute urgent transactions and ensure proper documentation.
- Support currency conversions and communicate details to AP.
Intercompany Funding & Treasury Operations
- Coordinate intercompany funding with approvals and execution.
- Optimize liquidity and cash allocation based on forecasts.
- Support reconciliations, cash tracking, and loan reporting.
Process Improvement & Automation
- Drive automation and standardization of forecasting and reporting processes.
- Support TMS (Kyriba) implementation and workflow optimization.
- Contribute to dashboards (Power BI) and process documentation.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Reporting
- Partner with finance and operations teams to ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare liquidity reports and presentations for leadership/CFO.
- Ensure audit compliance and participate in cross-functional alignment.
Key Year One Deliverables:
- Implement and stabilize a 13-week rolling cash flow forecast model across Americas, improving forecast accuracy and reducing variance through standardized inputs, automation, and cross-functional alignment.
- Enhance treasury visibility and efficiency by automating key reporting processes (cash position, DCF, FX tracking) and supporting the successful adoption of Kyriba TMS and Power BI dashboards.
Qualification, Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in treasury operations, direct cash forecasting, or corporate finance within a multinational environment.
- Strong understanding of cash flow forecasting methodologies, liquidity management, and working capital concepts.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills: financial modelling, complex formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and multi-tab workbook management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and operate independently across time zones.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to present complex financial data clearly to senior leadership.
- Self-starter with a continuous improvement orientation – someone who asks “how should this work?” rather than “how has this always worked?”
Preferred:
- Experience with Treasury Management Systems (Kyriba, FIS, SAP Treasury, or similar).
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, QAD) and how AP/AR data flows into treasury processes.
- Familiarity with FX spot trading mechanics, intercompany funding structures, and bank account management.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and dashboard development.
- Exposure to process automation, RPA, AI or workflow digitization initiatives.
- Portuguese and/or Spanish language skills (given Brazil and Mexico coverage).
- CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) designation or active progress toward certification.
