§ Assisting in and conducting capacity studies: Maintaining information on archived studies by department and keeping new departments up-to-date.
§ Assisting and supporting production: Helping to identify/eliminate bottlenecks, improve workflows, and analyze departmental deficiencies.
§ Assisting in layout planning: Paying attention to details to improve material flow, organizing and keeping the file up-to-date, and assisting in planning changes required during model changeovers.
§ Assisting in collecting material usage data: Keeping information up-to-date, and analyzing information for discrepancies or indicators that require intervention.
