What you'll be doing
- Install, troubleshoot and maintain automated conveyor systems.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical equipment failures to minimize downtime.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing operations.
- Interpret electrical diagrams, technical drawings and system documentation.
- Coordinate automation and equipment installation projects.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and support maintenance planning.
- Follow safety standards and company procedures while working on-site.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Automation, Robotics or a related Engineering discipline.
- Professional Degree and License (Título y Cédula).
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Valid Passport.
- Experience with industrial automation equipment and control systems.
- Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and 5S.
- Project coordination experience is an advantage.
- Availability to travel to the United States approximately 80% of the time.
