As Warehouse and Production Process Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that productivity targets are met, guaranteeing that all warehouse processes are executed according to PPG's established protocols.
You will play a key role in the logistics chain, efficiently overseeing the receiving, storage, and shipping of raw materials and finished products, ensuring adherence to defined deadlines.
You will optimize resource utilization and promote continuous improvement through process planning, team management, and the implementation of safety and quality policies.
This position reports to the Manufacturing Director.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, develop, evaluate, mentor, train, and motivate the warehouse team.
Promote a culture of safety, operational discipline, and continuous improvement.
Manage work shifts, operational coverage, and team performance.
Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution operations for materials and finished goods.
Design and optimize the warehouse layout, ensuring efficient use of available space.
Coordinate and ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with storage, handling, and shipping requirements.
Manage inventory control and reconcile it with WMS and Oracle systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Business Administration, or Logistics.
Proven experience of 5+ years in warehouse and logistics processes.
Knowledge and experience in warehouse management procedures and the use of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Experience using warehouse management software and databases, WMS and ERP systems.
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements applicable to the area.
Intermediate to advanced English level, both conversational and technical.
